GatherCore is a self-hosted gathering place for communities and small teams. No ad network, no third-party data, and no five different tools side by side.

Many communities spread their conversations, events, files and support requests across several services. That works – until permissions, responsibilities and data end up scattered in too many places.
GatherCore brings these things together in one clear interface. The server stays under your own control and can be adapted to your own group.
No future promises – just features that are already used in the running beta.
Public text channels and direct messages share one interface. Messages stay findable in long conversations through search, replies and jump-to-message links.
Voice channels run on LiveKit and can be used directly in the browser. Input and output devices as well as other participants' volume can be set individually.
Screen and camera sharing are tied to voice rooms. A viewer only gets counted once they actually open the stream.
Personal appointments and shared server events show up in one calendar view. For larger files there's a dedicated exchange area alongside chat attachments.
Issues can be reported as a local server ticket or a system-wide ticket. Moderators only get the tools they've been explicitly granted.
The dashboard bundles technical and organizational administration. Operators see at a glance whether GatherCore and its required services are reachable.
Streamers can control OBS from their own freely arrangeable page. The connection uses the OBS WebSocket interface and stays separate from regular chat.
Many display and audio options belong to the user, not the server. That means the same instance can be set up differently on desktop and mobile.
GatherCore is designed to run on your own Linux server. That way, data, access and settings all stay in one place.
The most important features run directly in the browser. No mandatory desktop client required.
